You'd pick me?

I've got these two co-workers that I'm closer with than the others. One male, one female. We talk about a variety of topics and it's always fun to bounce ideas off of each other. I don't even know how we got on the topic today but polygamy came up. Apparently my female co-worker and her husband were discussing it and she told him that she'd pick me for his second wife! Really? She said that she would have to pick someone she really got along with. I'm flattered of course but wow. What's even funnier was that when her and her husband were having this discussion, apparently she said my name right away and I guess he was shocked that she had thought about this already. I guess I am a little shocked too. Flattered still, but shocked. : ) So what part of the sandwich am I?

Very interesting conversation! And you made me laugh--maybe you're the tomato? The onion? Do you feel like an onion?

What you didn't say was whether you'd sign up for such an arrangement. Personally, I don't really have a problem with polygamy as long as the husband isn't carting off underage girls or cloistering the wives in some religious compound. It may not work for everyone, but if everyone involved is comfy, why the hell not?

Do I feel like an onion? I'm going to have to go with a no on that one. I guess I'd have to say I'm the mayo. A guilty pleasure that you avoid when you're trying to be good. hee hee

I agree that as long as no one underage is involved and everyone is sincerely happy, go for it! I don't think it would work for me because I don't like relationships to begin with, let alone with multiple people. I have issues. : )
