Alexander Jansson

I've shared some of Alexander Jansson's work before and found a few more pics in my archive that I wanted to share. I find his work to be beautiful, dark and magical.

This piece is titled Dimanche.

wow, i'm really digging geraldine! very nice!

as far as dark work goes, I really enjoy the work that Stpehen Gammel did for the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark series. They are incredibly dark and have left an impression on me since I started reading them when I was seven or so...

for some reason, these works kind of remind me of him...

Diane - I really like how his Web site is set up too. Kinda' magical. I loves me some magic! ha ha

Cindy - I looked up Stephen Gammell and his work is very unique! I can see how he would have left an impression on you especially if you were seven at the time!

I can definitely see how Geraldine is similar to his work.

I really like his work. It stands out from many of darker artists - not too gruesome, not too cartoonish.

Ghoul Friday - Exactly! His work is a happy medium of both themes. Magical with a dark twist.
